GOALS
Over time, we've collected our members' goals. Here they are!
1) Support the team! Draw some good stuff! Have fun!
2) Aim to provide a club in which its members can learn about law, improve their public speaking skills, and have fun!
3) To use space well when I speak, slow down for emphasis, and create lots of emotion
4) My goals are to make it to semifinals. I want to end my last year in mock trial on a strong note by delivering a strong opening statement and supporting the rest of the team.
5) To fully embody a character and portray them in a convincing way.
6) I really hope I can help the Mock Trial team out as much as possible this year--I'm super excited to both get to know people and to try my best.
7) Enjoy my last year with this team!
8) My goals are to have fun
9) I hope to become better at speaking on the spot during my cross examination.
10) I’d really like to get better at formulating concise, persuasive arguments on my feet—I want to gain enough confidence in myself to not second guess myself, and take pride in my achievements
11) Beat Lynbrook
12) Some of my goals for this year are to learn more about law and how mock trial works. I'm excited to learn the various nuances of the law, and I am looking forward to growing closer with my mock trial teammates.
